I have a lot of friends. A lot.
Most of them are tradesmen.
I’m a tradesman myself. My day job is pool and spa leak detection, and most of the people I tend to rub elbows with make their living fixing, building, maintaining or figuring out things that aren’t working. A lot of them own their own small businesses. Others work for mom-and-pop operations.
Chad Merritt is one of those people.
We’ve also worked together as contractors in, on and around the water, so my perspective on him is a little different from somebody leaving a customer review.
Come to think of it, there’s a connection between our day jobs too.
I spend an unreasonable amount of my life looking for water that’s someplace it isn’t supposed to be.
Chad spends an unreasonable amount of his making sure it doesn’t get into a boat.
Leaks are apparently our thing.
I’ve worked beside the man. I know how he approaches a problem, and I know whether I’d trust him around something that mattered to me.
I would.
That’s really all the endorsement I need to give.
Ragged Edge Marine vessel watch
Ragged Edge Marine provides private vessel-watch and marine concierge care from Vero Beach to Palm Beach. Chad’s vessel-watch program includes routine checks such as bilge inspection, testing automatic float switches and high-water alarms when present, and reporting problems that need attention.
Weekly vessel watch is $150 for vessels under 40 feet and $250 for vessels over 40 feet and under 60 feet. While there, Ragged Edge will also hose off apparent soil; brushing and drying are not included.
Ragged Edge Marine and FloridaHillbilly now have a referral arrangement. If you sign up for Chad’s monthly vessel-watch program using SALTY50, you get $50 off your first week, and FloridaHillbilly gets a $100 referral fee.
To talk to Chad, call (772) 206-9372 or visit Ragged Edge Marine.
So yes, this is an advertisement.
It’s also somebody I’d have told you to call anyway.
P.S. We fish together too. Don’t hold that against either of us.
Peace,
db
