FloridaHillbilly is working to make the site usable by as many people as practical, including visitors who use keyboards, screen readers, zoom, or other assistive technology.
Current approach
The current theme includes responsive layouts, visible text labels on forms, keyboard-accessible navigation controls, a skip-to-content link, and semantic page structure. Older articles and media were created over many years and may contain accessibility gaps, including missing or weak image descriptions, outdated embeds, or legacy formatting.
Known limitations
The largest known content issue is older imagery with missing or inadequate alternative text. This is being corrected selectively where a useful description can be determined without inventing information. Some third-party embeds and linked services are outside FloridaHillbilly’s direct control.
Report a problem
If something on the site is difficult to use, please use the Contact page and identify the page and the problem. Reasonable accessibility issues will be investigated and corrected where practical.
