“We must, indeed, all hang together, or most assuredly we shall all hang separately.”-In the Continental Congress just before signing
the Declaration of Independence, 1776
and
“….what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is it’s natural manure. ” –Thomas Jefferson to William Stephens Smith, Paris, 13 Nov. 1787
Do not forget what our forefathers faced or their sacrifice in gaining our liberties. And do not hesitate to step up in the face of tyranny. If we stand together, they cannot continue to enslave us one step at a time.
Your Brother In Arms,

PS – In 1778, General George Washington marked July 4 with a double ration of rum for his soldiers and an artillery salute. Do not forget to celebrate our forefather’s successes. With rum!
I will!
Nice post my friend.
That is my favorite quote by Thomas Jefferson.
If I could…I will add the reading of the Declaration Of Independence.
